PRIVATE ORTHOPEDIC HOME VISITS
A private, coordinated home visit by an orthopedic specialist. Assessment, portable ultrasound, casts, referrals, prescriptions and selected procedures are considered during one visit, where clinically appropriate.
For urgent orthopedic concerns, contact us. For a life-threatening emergency — loss of consciousness, breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding or a severe head injury — call Magen David Adom on 101 immediately.
WHAT MAY BE AVAILABLE DURING A VISIT
The specialist determines what is clinically appropriate after examination. Not every service is appropriate for every patient or every condition.
Focused history and examination, with an immediate plan for next steps.
Assessment of relevant musculoskeletal soft tissues during the visit when appropriate.
Cast removal or replacement with a lightweight cast when clinically appropriate.
Referrals for imaging or emergency care, and prescriptions where clinically indicated.
The treating specialist considers medication or procedures only after assessment and according to clinical judgment.
Orthopedic assessment and supporting visit documentation where appropriate.
WHY AT HOME
Every doctor in the service is a senior orthopedic specialist. The current team consists of hospital unit heads or physicians in more senior roles; future doctors will be senior specialists, but leadership roles are not guaranteed.
Visits are coordinated around availability. We confirm the area and estimated arrival window before the visit.
Adults, older adults and children of every age can be assessed at home, subject to availability and clinical suitability.
WHO COMES TO YOU
There are no general practitioners or residents in this service. Every visiting physician holds a recognized orthopedic specialty. The current team consists of hospital unit heads or physicians in more senior hospital roles. Future doctors in the service will be senior orthopedic specialists; a leadership role is not guaranteed. All doctors speak Hebrew and English; most also speak Russian.
